Here's a simple one-take performance of a song I wrote many years ago when I lived in upstate New York. I've Got a Girl and she loves that tune
we've got a past of sneaking into
each other's rooms.

We hardly kiss. We hide it good.
but my sheets and my pillows

There are so many more things to find

an innocent look that does not allow

She's so colorful
She lights up a room
She's been giving me gifts without even knowing it.
Can I please give you this?

I've got a good thing to miss.

There are so many more things to find
but I found so much in such little time
in a place like this
way up here in the altitude
a sunflower grows and has been in full bloom
I'll be missing you.
